Alstom Grid announced update of MiCOM S1 Agile software package (revision 1.1). Update provides users with capability of creating projects with products of recently acquired company Reason Tecnologia (Brazil). Reason Tecnologia product range concentrates on solutions for digital substations.
Among devices that may be configured with MiCOM S1 Agile:
Reason RPV311 – fault recording device, including synchronized phasor measurement and travelling wave fault location functionality.
Reason MU320 – merging unit (MU).
RT series time synchronization servers.
T1000 series managed Ethernet switches.
This software update is also required for configuration of new P34x series IEDs.
